First installation

Before you install Cinch Audio Recorder

    Check your system

    Windows needs a 64-bit Windows 10 or 11 PC. Mac setup requires macOS 13.5 or later.

    Run the installer

    Open the installer, follow the on-screen steps, and keep an internet connection available for activation and online song information.

    Make a short test recording

    Play a familiar track, record a short sample, then check the saved file in the Library before a longer session. Use the preflight checklist if the recording matters.
